Your privacy matters
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Boltix handles information when you play our wood screw puzzle game on Android or iOS.
The short version: Boltix does not require an account and does not ask for your name, address, contacts, photos, microphone or precise location. The game uses Google services for analytics, crash reporting, consent and rewarded advertising. Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple.
Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to Boltix (“Boltix”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Boltix is the developer and operator of the Boltix mobile game.
Information handled by Boltix
Game progress and preferences
Boltix stores your current level, unlocked progress, recent completion result, sound and music preferences, and locally cached purchase entitlements on your device. This information supports gameplay and is not used to identify you.
Analytics and gameplay events
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game performs and how features are used. Information may include app interactions such as level starts and completions, moves, helper use and purchase unlock events, along with app version, device type, operating system, country or general region, language, session information and identifiers generated by Firebase. On iOS, we disable Firebase advertising-storage, advertising-user-data and ad-personalization consent and IDFV collection; gameplay analytics is not enabled for advertising remarketing.
Crash and diagnostic information
Firebase Crashlytics receives crash logs and technical diagnostics so we can find and fix problems. These reports may include device model, operating-system and app versions, time of a crash, stack traces, app state, level number, timer mode, installation identifiers and related diagnostic information.
Rewarded advertising and consent
Boltix uses Google AdMob to offer rewarded ads for certain optional game actions. Google and its advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, IP address, general location inferred from IP, device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver, measure, secure and, where permitted, personalize ads.
On iOS, Boltix requests permission through Apple's native App Tracking Transparency dialog before starting advertising services. If you decline or tracking is restricted, Boltix requests non-personalized ads and does not access the advertising identifier through that permission. Playing the game and making purchases do not require you to allow tracking. Google's User Messaging Platform may separately display a regional data-use consent form where required. Your choices are stored and communicated to Google's advertising services; regional consent does not override an Apple tracking refusal.
Purchases
One-time purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive product identifiers and transaction status needed to unlock and restore purchases. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Google or Apple handles payment and account information under its own privacy terms.
Messages you send us
If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request, provide support, protect the game and meet legal obligations.
How we use information
- Provide gameplay, save settings and restore eligible purchases.
- Measure game usage and improve levels, performance and usability.
- Find, diagnose and repair crashes and technical problems.
- Show and measure rewarded ads, prevent fraud and respect consent choices.
- Respond to support and privacy enquiries.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our rights.
When information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. Information is processed by service providers only as needed to operate Boltix:
- Google Firebase for analytics, app installations, sessions and crash reporting.
- Google AdMob and its advertising partners for rewarded ads, consent, measurement, security and fraud prevention.
- Google Play and Apple for app distribution, payments and purchase restoration.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate fraud or security issues, or support a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Your privacy choices
- Where required, use the consent form shown in the game to choose how ads use your information.
- When available, open Pause → Privacy in Boltix to revisit Google advertising privacy choices.
- On iOS, use Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to change Apple tracking permission. Boltix checks for changes when you return to the game and discards previously loaded ads.
- Use your Android privacy settings to manage or reset your advertising identifier and related ad choices.
- Clear Boltix app data or uninstall the app to remove game progress and preferences stored locally. Purchases remain associated with your store account and may be restored.
- Contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information associated with you. Because Boltix has no account system and most telemetry uses pseudonymous identifiers, we may be unable to connect an anonymous record to you without additional technical details.
Retention and deletion
Local game information remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Analytics, advertising and crash information is retained according to our service configuration and the applicable provider's retention practices, and only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Support messages may be kept while we resolve the request and as needed for legal, security or record-keeping obligations.
Boltix does not create user accounts. You may request deletion of information that we can reasonably identify as connected to you by using the contact details below.
Security and international processing
We and our service providers use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Data sent to the services described above is transmitted using encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, they use recognized legal mechanisms and safeguards for international data transfers.
Children's privacy
Boltix is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Boltix, our providers or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or store listing where appropriate.
